Thicker than usual paper. Not the paper you would put in a printer. Not 3 ring notebook paper. Look for rag content, non-recycled paper that is heavier than 20# (usual printer paper weight). A 25# paper should do. Here’s a trick, get letterhead. They sell it at copier shops. It’s non-recycled, heavier than usual, and almost always on sale because people don’t use it anymore. You can draw, write, let those Mont Blanc words flow. Fountain pens are so beautiful. I use brown ink in mine sometimes. Levenger sells paper you would like. Try different inks as well as different papers. Some brands of ink don’t work too well with fountain pens, even though they are marketed as fountain pen ink. Noodlers is good ink, so is any Levengers usually. I love fountain pens, and hope you enjoy yours immensely. Signed with a flourish !
