How can you spot a fake Mont Blanc pen?

Specificially, a Meisterstuck (164)?

Specifically, I can't tell you what to look for. If you can find someone who collects pens, they can probably help you best. The people in pen stores are a wild card....sometimes they know what they're talking about and sometimes they don't. Mont Blanc probably has a website that might give you some hints.

I didn’t know they made knock off pens.

My brother & dad own a lot of Mont Blanc pens… I’ve really never been big on pens…

There’s a big difference, no one wants anything fake, especially if the person that they’re using next to them knows all about real.

All I can say is that the inscriptions are very detailed.

You could try taking it into a pen store, and asking the people there.
