What is so special about Mont Blanc Pens?

They cost a ton of money and I have no diea why. Any answers?

Why do Mercedes Benz cars cost so much? They have a certain reputation for excellence and so do the Mont Blanc pens.

    COnstruction, but I am truly at a loss, for i find they are no better or worse than a Waterman
